Beach Summer

Skirts Galore

I love skirts, especially cotton ones for hot summer weather.  And more especially ones in pretty prints.

I have converted a few summer dresses I have grown out of into elastic skirts so I can keep wearing these pretty materials.

The photos are more for uploading to polyvore.

Did some Ebay shopping at a shop called Uniquely Exotic for a beautiful pair of wide legged pants with a comfortable seer sucker waist band and a pretty wrap around skirt:

Plus two new button down shirts I have crafted.  The orange one is a tailored shirt that shows off the waist nicely.  And doesn't pucker open at bust line!

This red shirt is a Shearwater Kaftan pattern designed by a local gal in the Northern Beaches.  The original pattern had the bust line as the smallest point!  After a few crucial and pattern changing adjustments, I have a lovely summer cotton tunic that fits perfectly.
